TigerVNC is a remote control desktop suite consisting of a server and a client which gives you control over a remote desktop allowing for keyboard and mouse input. After initial installation of TigerVNC the server , you must setup some configuration variables like the VNC password, connection power and the type of inputs allowed to be used.
Once you're done setting up the server portion of TigerVNC, you should then install the client on the PC which you would like to use to control the remote PC.
A password should definitely have been set on the server portion so that only you can access it via your client. Once a connection has been established with the remote PC, you can control it with the viewer window on the client system. Overall, it performs very well and is a fast alternative to some commercial software providing the same features. Be sure to read some of the documentation before setting this up if you plan on using some of the advanced features. TigerVNC 1.
